Here are my 3rd attempts from Friday.
Squat - 242.5kg
Bench - 152.5kg
Deadlift - 245kg
640kg total.
Really happy with the deadlift as I have been stuck on 240kg for way too long so felt good to finally break past it.

Hopefully get some of the photos once they are up.

Kia ora whanau, an update from yesterdays nationals. Was a good day for my first year in open, it's definitely a whole new ball game and I have plenty of work to do. My day went like this.

Squat
-230kg
-237.5kg (7.5kg pb)
-242.5kg (12.5kg pb)

Bench
-140kg
-147.5kg
-152.5kg(2.5kg pb)

Deadlift
-230kg
-240kg (10kg sumo pb)
-245kg (15kg sumo pb)

Totals 640kg (35kg total pb)
at 119.5kg bodyweight.

Was really happy to go 9 for 9 was beginning to think it was a myth! Had a few kilos left on the platform but all in all was a good day of lifting.

A big thank you to my soon to be wife Rebecca Voorwinden for always having my back and keeping me inline when times get tough, to couch Dominique Basabas for keeping things real during my build up. To the nzpa family thank you for all the support this year not only in the prep for nats but in General. It's been a rough year and I wouldn't have got through it without you guys. I'll post videos when I can, Chur!!!!
