🏁 Team Tekno NZ at the Windy 500! 🏁
A few of the crew made the trip down to Wellington this weekend for the Windy 500 and brought the Tekno heat! πŸ”₯

In E-Truggy, we’re stoked to share:
πŸ₯ˆ 2nd Place – Daniel Contreras
πŸ₯‰ 3rd Place – Paul Farmer

πŸ‘ Big congrats to Paul on making his first major event podium – awesome to see your hard work and dedication paying off!
πŸ”₯ Shoutout to Daniel, who continues to push for the top spots in Truggy and also made the A-Main in E-Buggy against some seriously tough competition.
πŸ† And props to Zack Currie, who had an impressive outing, taking the top spot in the E-Buggy B-Main with his brand new EB48 2.2!

Awesome results, solid driving, and a great representation of the Tekno team πŸ’ͺ

I had a practice day today playing around with set up, played with pill options, links positions, shock positions just to name a few. I found this cool app, before I made changes I told the app about what I was going to adjust and it gave me recommendations and what to expect if I went one way or the other. Found it really helpful in making tuning adjustments. Check it out, rc ai mechanic app

Did a lot of playing around with set up over the weekend and this is my latest set up. Lowering the diffs was a big improvement as the track in Lublin was tight and loose. Also moved pills on A block and D block to give it better traction out of the corners. Another improvement was changing the rod ends to the new 2.2 rod ends 9059c. They have 90 degree steering links which give it better steering and also put the E spindle arm plate 9047E on to improve steering. Car felt really good with plenty of steering and good drive out of the corners. Last thing to try for that track is 18 degree caster as it's ment to be better for tighter tracks than the 21 degree....
