Nicky's horsey holiday programme is done and dusted. I'm so happy, everything achieved. 3rd/4th October (Tuesday/Wednesday)

Tuesday Arrive 9am
9.30-10.30 in hand including the park, the turn and lunging.
10.30-11am morning tea
11 -12.30 pm Gymnastic pole work and lateral work

Wednesday Arrive 9am
9.30am /10.30am flat work
10.30-11am morning tea
11am/12.30pm , work on dressage test movements finishing off by riding a test (at your level)

House keeping
Please bring food for you and your horse
A long lead rope (if possible)
Ensure you arrive on time and are ready to go by 9.30am

I was fortunate to have a lesson on a mechanical horse whilst in Christchurch last weekend. THE RIDING WORKSHOP offers lessons for all riders , I went along to help improve my dressage position. The lesson lasts an hour with lots of instruction including position balance , clarity of aids including seat, leg and hands. My take home was more contact, clearer leg aids and an adjustment in hip leg alignment. I have ridden 3 times since the lesson and have had a marked improvement in myself and Scarlett.
