We've covered the Streetstock 290s and the Super Saloons, and now it's time to talk Modifieds. Rounding out Sunday's card at Waikaraka Park Speedway on the 26th April is the Modified Championship, and with some of the names in this field, it's going to be a night to remember. Here are a few we're excited to see out on track.

Here's something a little bit different. Adam's Modified can actually be signed by you this Sunday. Head down to the pits, find , and grab your spot on the car. The Modifieds are aiming to beat the previous record of 50 signatures at Waikaraka, so bring the kids down and be part of it. How cool is that?

Daniel Crumpe
Daniel recently placed 3rd at the GP Modifieds and has been putting in the miles to match. He's made the journey all the way from Auckland down through the South Island, taking in stops at Greymouth and Dunedin, in pursuit of racing. A talented driver who clearly loves the sport and will be great to see at Waikaraka this Sunday.

Kaylee Brooks
Kaylee picked up Rookie of the Year last season and hasn't stopped since. She recently stood on the podium at the North Island Modified Champs and has been proving herself week after week.

Samantha Keeling
Sam recently claimed 2nd on the podium at the Modifieds NZ North Island Title and, in doing so, made some history. For the first time, a brother and sister stood on the podium together at a national title, and for the first time, two women podiumed at a national title. Alongside Kaylee, Sam is leading the way for women in motorsport, and it's something worth celebrating.

What a field. What a night it's shaping up to be. The Modifieds, the Super Saloons, the Streetstock 290s, and of course the TWS/PTS SuperStock Teams Champs Nationals, all under lights at Waikaraka Park Speedway this Sunday, 26th April.

We'll see you there. Gates open at 3:30 p.m., racing starts at 5 p.m.

Our final meeting of the year, Auckland champs Waikaraka Family Speedway.. this is one of my favorite tracks to race on and I'm really looking forward to it 😎
Good to have one last skid before we look in to much needed upgrades in the off season.
We will have the car being signed again so bring the kiddies down and support us for the night! We have had over 50 race day supporters at Waikaraka Family Speedway previously so be good if we can exceed that 😎

First Dirt Cup done and dusted!
Heat 1: g3 -p3
Heat 2: g6- p5
Qualified 4th equal with 5 cars!
Top 6 went to pole shuffle unfortunately to determine the 2 spots in the pole shuffle it came down to lap times with 4 cars getting down to 10 thousands of a second but I missed out by .05 which put me in to 8th spot for 30 lap feature. That is hard work with 8 top fast cars!

This Saturday for one night only, we head to Waikaraka Park Speedway in Auckland for the annual Modified Dirt Cup!

With a fantastic line up of Modifieds from around the country, this is one of the biggest meetings on the speedway calendar that many want to win.

Hear the roar of the big v8s as they battle to see who will come out atop of the podium at the very fast Waikaraka Park circuit.

This weekend brings our first campaign for the prestigious Modified Dirt Cup at Waikaraka Family Speedway, we have completed less then 150 laps in total in a modified, the driver feels confident coming off some good laps at Huntly Speedway, our set up crew have been researching the new track surface and they too feel confident with the direction we are heading.
There some bloody quick cars there this weekend and that brings close hard fast racing for the spectators.
