This is a great opportunity to have a one-on-one session with Barbara, a highly regarded trainer. She is available on these dates in Matangi or at your place, if you are in the Hamilton/Cambridge area.

Barbara has helped horse owners throughout NZ prepare and train their horses for in-hand and showing classes. She has many satisfied clients who attest to her talent as great trainer.

She is offering the private clinics for those who are keen for training but unable to attend her Clinic in Cambridge on 28 September.

Barbara has kindly donated proceeds for all clinics to the Waikato Arabian Show Group who are raising funds for the National Arabian Show and North Island Championships 2026. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

🏆✨ Exciting Announcement for the 2026 Show Season! ✨🏆

Thanks to the New Zealand Arabian Horse Society we can finally announce that the 2026 Arabian North Island Championships & National Arabian Show will be hosted by the newly formed Waikato Arabian Show Group (WASG)!

Mark your calendars for a spectacular showcase of the Arabian horse.

🗓️ Date: 21st & 22nd February 2026
📍 Venue: Cambridge Lodge

Led by Colette Hosking, the WASG committee is a passionate and experienced team. We are proudly supported by members of the new Waikato Arabian Horse Club.

As a newly formed group, we are driven by a passion to create an unforgettable event for Arabian enthusiasts across the country. To bring this vision to life, the success of the show will rely on the incredible support of our community.
This is a collective effort, and we are committed to doing our very best, but we cannot do it without the backing of sponsors, fundraising initiatives, and of course, your enthusiastic participation as competitors.

Fundraising will begin shortly, and we encourage horse lovers from all over New Zealand to get involved. Stay tuned for further announcements regarding sponsorship packages and event details.

Let's come together to make the 2026 Nationals a show to remember! We wish the organising team the very best and look forward to seeing you all there.

The Waikato Arabian Horse Club held its first meeting today to reignite the club.

The meeting was held at Cambridge Raceway (many thanks to Ken & Melanie for being able to host our first meeting there)

We had some really enthusiastic discussion about events, seminars, treks, stud tours etc that could benefit current owners and breeders of Arabian horses while also encourage new owners/breeders to the breed.

The subscription to join the Waikato Arabian Horse Club has been set at $25.
