We are delighted to invite all members and supporters to the Marching Southland Annual General Meeting (AGM)!

🗓 Date: Wednesday 8th July 2026

📍 Location: Community Trust - Board Room | 62 Don Street

⏰ Time: 7pm Doors Open/Refreshments | 7:30pm Meeting Starts

📢 Monthly Meeting: The July Committee meeting will commence shortly after the conclusion of the 2026 AGM

The AGM is a wonderful opportunity to review our accomplishments over the past year, discuss future plans, and elect new committee members.
Your participation is essential in guiding the future of Marching Southland.
We encourage all members to attend and share their votes

The Phoenix Marching Spirit Award is inspired by the dedication, commitment, perseverance, and spirit of one outstanding marcher.

This year’s recipient has shown unwavering dedication to her growth, consistently striving to improve and embrace every challenge.

She has demonstrated genuine kindness and care for those around her, lifting her teammates and contributing to the strength of our team. Through every new experience this season, she has persevered with determination and courage.

She has also reminded me of the importance of patience, understanding and truly embodies everything Phoenix stands for.

It was my absolute pleasure to present the 2026 Phoenix Marching Spirit Award to Lyla McFadzien.

Phoenix has always been built on hard work (the kind that makes your legs question your life choices), balanced with laughs, resilience, and just enough sass to keep things interesting.

Its determination meets passion… with a generous side of stickers, snacks, roadies, questionable car singalongs, and games that get far too competitive 95% of the time.

Put it all together and you get one seriously dedicated (and slightly unhinged) team that shows up, stands tall, and has a darn good time doing what they love.
