Headway Grand Prix

Headway has been very quiet for a few years now but it’s nice to know we’ve played a hand in development some of New Zealands best talent and today we celebrate!

If you follow cycling from anywhere in the world right not you’ll know the Tour of Southland or as most people like to call it the 4th grand tour is on at the moment.

Two of our challenges had very successful days and one even gave headway a mention in their post race interview.

The first success we celebrate is Tom Sexton taking his first even win in the tour into Te Anau with an epic 100km attack.

The second we celebrate is Bailey O'Donnell who now wears the Orange leaders jersey of the tour and gave us big shout out in his speech.

We’ve had world champions, and Olympians come from headway but this is the greatest stage for cycling in the world, headway couldn’t be more proud of its athletes.

Word from head management is in, Round 6 of Headways GP will go ahead on the 20th of October!!!!! Lock the date in your calendar, it is going to be bigger and better than ever.

Also huge congratulations are in order for one of the founding fathers of headways, Hamish Beadle, recently turned pro with team Novo Nordisk! Thankfully they have released him from his contract duties to compete in his home race.
