Massive congratulations to Regan Stratford as he brings up his 50th game for the Tokanui Rugby Club this weekend.
Debuting back in 2021, Regan first started out in the front row as a ho**er before recently making the move into the loose forwards, a transition he’s taken in his stride. A machine around the paddock defensively and a strong ball carrier, he’s become a key part of the side each week.
Over the years he has established himself as a leader within the group taking on vice captaincy as he continues to grow his game week after week. A well-deserved milestone for a player who gives plenty to the jersey.
Congratulations Straty 🟢⚫️🟢⚫️

Last night, the Tokanui Rugby Club had the honour of inducting our newest Life Member, Steven Hayes.
“Hayser” has dedicated many years of his life to the club, countless games for the senior side and many seasons coaching junior rugby and giving back to the next generation.
Steven also proudly represented Southland Rugby 51 times and is undoubtedly regarded as one of Southland’s finest ever tighthead props.
Majority of Tokanui would have had the privilege of witnessing one of Haysers musical performances on the bus or in the changing shed, A huge part of the club culture and community for many years.
A thoroughly deserved honour — congratulations, Hayser!
