The Whakapapa Adaptive Festival left us with plenty to smile about. 😎❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us up here and made the festival such a good one. To our Whakapapa Adaptive Team and our brilliant crew of volunteers, thank you for the time, energy and mahi you put in to make it all happen.

And a big shout out to our sponsors Halberg Foundation (Halbergfoundation), Snow Sports New Zealand (Snow Sports NZ) and Dragon (DRAGON Australia & New Zealand). Thanks for backing the festival and helping more people get out on the snow.

The Steel Brothers are here to talk mountain manners. 🏂⛷️🗻

Whether it’s mint, rocky or somewhere in between, know the Whakapapa Code of Conduct and help keep the maunga a good time for everyone.

Three simple rules for a great day at Whakapapa:

Ride to the conditions – stay in control and keep your speed in check.

Don’t lose what you use – keep hold of your equipment and take your rubbish with you.

Respect gets respect – give way to riders below, give each other space and follow ski area signage.

A quick update on Ski and Snowboard Day Passes at Whakapapa this spring. ⛷️🏂

We've made a few changes to make getting on the mountain a little simpler and better value for the rest of the 2026 winter season, including a new All Mountain Anytime 2-Day Pass.

At $134 for adults and $89 for youth, it works out to just $67 per day for adults and $44.50 per day for youth. The best part? Your two days don't need to be consecutive. Use them across two different days before the end of the winter season or if you have any unused days, use them for sightseeing during the upcoming summer season.

We've also updated our All Mountain Anytime Day Pass, which is now the same price online every day of the week, including weekends. An adult pass is now $119 and a youth pass is $79.

Both passes are available online now until the end of the 2026 winter season. Find out more and get your pass at www.whakapapa.com/2026-spring.

Conditions up here range from mint to character building! ❄️

The 2026 Whakapapa Merch Collection celebrates the elements that make Whakapapa such a unique place. Among the collection is a tribute to our iconic Far West T-Bar, inspired by this frosty image captured a few years back of the return tower.

The full 2026 Whakapapa Merch Collection is now available in store. Come check out the range and find your favourite piece.

The Whakapapa Adaptive Festival is back from 11 to 13 September, bringing together people of all ages and abilities for three days of inclusive snowsports. ⛷️🏔️

Alongside the Halberg Foundation and the Whakapapa Adaptive team, it’s all about getting out there, having a go and enjoying the mountain together. Max from the Halberg Foundation shares a bit about the volunteer training that helps make days like these possible.

A big shout-out to the other legends supporting the festival, Snow Sports NZ and Dragon Alliance Australia/New Zealand.
