Wahine Taniwha Softball Women’s Softball Team from Ngāruawāhia. Established in 2025 under Taniwha Softball Club.

As you know, Thursday trainings, are reserved for batting.

Tonight, our team was learning how to, successfully bunt a ball, with having 16 ladies rotate around 4 batting stations. It gave us an assortment of different batting techniques.

Big thank you to WKSA, and Wanita Martin for hosting a scorers course. We throughly had such a good time , learning how to score a game of softball.

- Wahine Taniwha 2nd fundraiser will be drawn this Father’s Day, ( Father’s Day on Sunday ifkyk) 😜

- Registrations closes September 18th. All levels of fitness, new to the sport, or just want to socialise are welcomed. Don’t quit it, before you hit it.

First training of the season, and we all done so well. Awesome to see you get out on the diamond, and have a go.

And welcome to all our new ladies that have decided to join our team. Looking out tonight. I have a good feeling about this 26/27 softball season.
