Triple Threat North Otago Penguins

Huge shout to penguin Toby Hunt for leading Shirley boys high school to their first AA Secondary School National Champs and also deservedly receiving the tournament MVP award.

Also another penguin Sam Senior leading them as an assistant coach. Awesome to see penguins on the national stage!

Went down 92-84 to North Canterbury in our second game. Two great hit outs for day 1.

Went down to a great porirua team 83-76. Great first hit out for the boys, attention moves to North Canterbury at 3pm

Nationals are just around the corner

Excited to announce the Penguins Travelling squad to attend the Tupu National Finals in Dunedin 14-16 November.

If your around come on down to the Edgar Centre and give the Penguins some support.

We have received a wildcard spot for Nationals and will be attending the tournament in Dunedin from the 14th to the 16th of November!

Two great wins today for the penguins in the last day of qualifiers.
This now means we finished third in the zone and will be waiting to see if a wildcard spot comes our way for nationals.
We will be waiting ready to go!

Tough day out for the boys went down to Southland in overtime 97-94.
