TRIALIST REGISTRATIONS UNDER 13, 15 and 17 CLOSE TOMORROW (SAT 26 SEPTEMBER 2026) at 12pm.
We’re looking forward to welcoming our kōtiro and whānau to our 2027 Aotea Māori Netball Trials this Sunday.
We need to let you know about an important change to the programme we originally shared. This information will be emailed to all registered trialists as well.
With the weather forecast for Sunday not looking favourable, we have made the decision to move our trials indoors. We have secured two courts at the TSB Hub, Camberwell Road, Hāwera, right next door to the outdoor courts we were originally going to use.
As we only have two indoor courts available, we can no longer have all age groups together from 10.00am–2.00pm. Instead, trials will run in two sessions:
UNDER 13 • UNDER 17 • UNDER 19
Arrival/check-in: 9.30am–9.45am
Trials: 10.00am–12.00pm
UNDER 15
Arrival/check-in: 11.30am–11.45am
Trials: 12.00pm–2.00pm
PREMIER
Trial deferred to 18 October 2026
Please arrive within the check-in times above so we can get everyone registered and be ready to start each session on time.
VENUE & PARKING
TSB Hub (Indoor Courts)
Camberwell Road
Hāwera
The entrance at this end of the building will be open, and we recommend parking on this side for easiest access.
You can enter through the other end of the Hub if needed, but you will need to walk through the building to reach our courts.
Moving indoors and reducing the time available with each age group means we will need to adapt some of the whakawhanaungatanga, kaupapa hauora, skills and trial activities we originally planned. However, our focus remains the same — creating a positive, supportive environment where our kōtiro have the opportunity to show us what they can do.
