🏴‍☠️ PIRATES ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW CAPTAIN AND CREW 🏴‍☠️

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided it’s time for me to hang up the boots and step down from the Pirates.

With life getting busier personally, I don’t feel I’ll be able to give the Pirates the love, time and energy it deserves moving forward.

I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built. What started as an idea has grown into an awesome club, a great community and, most importantly, a Pirates family. ❤️

I’ve loved the journey every step of the way — the players, volunteers, supporters, families, laughs, challenges and memories along the way have made it something really special.

I believe we’ve built a great foundation, and now it’s time for someone else to take the helm, bring some fresh energy and steer the Pirates into its next chapter. 🏴‍☠️

So… who wants to be the next Captain and crew?

Whether it’s one person wanting to take the lead or a group of you keen to take it on together, I’d love to hear from you.

Teams and individual players are welcome across our junior and senior grades. Whether you already have a team or are looking to join one, get ready for another exciting season of Pirates tag football.

We're gearing up for another exciting season and we're looking for a few passionate people to join our Pirates family behind the scenes!

We need volunteers to help with:
✅ Admin and registrations
✅ Game day setup and pack down
✅ General organisation
✅ Helping create a fun, welcoming environment for our players and families

You don't need to know anything about Tag Football! If you're enthusiastic, reliable, enjoy working with people, and want to give back to the community, we'd love to hear from you.

Whether you can spare a couple of hours each week or help out on game days, every bit of support makes a huge difference.

Being part of Pirates is about more than sport—it's about community, friendships, and creating an awesome experience for our tamariki and whānau.
