All the best for the event and hopefully you can bring back a trophy of two.
The NZ contingent in total is 10 competitors so 'Go Manawatu'.

What a great weekend for the club. Saturday we had a 'fun day' event. 22 sailors. Everybody sailed in 'mix and match' races in the morning. The morning races helped determine teams for the afternoon. 6 teams, 10 races with everybody sailing at least 5 races. Lots of fun, camaraderie and close quarter racing practice for those heading for the worlds. Folks enjoyed the relaxed competitive format and opportunity to sail against a range of sailors of varying abilities.
Chocolate was divided up amongst the winning teams.
Team Julian 1st. Team Rudi 2nd and Team Shannon 3rd.

A massive thanks to everyone who turned up today to help sweep the track. Many hands make light work. Special thanks to McIntosh Cranes for organising and bringing out a truck with tractors and sweeper making our work possible. After finishing the big sweep Finn managed to get out for a couple of laps. In his words “it’s amazing!”
