Day to forget for me! First heat I had a discharged battery and lasted 3/4 of a lap! Car was unsettled in heat 2. Made p2 in the C final and managed to take out 3 cars on turn 4, after redress I just enjoyed the race.
James drove absolutely fantastic. Needed no marshal assistance and kept out of trouble, he was up against a quality field of juniors though and didn't make the podium but so proud of him! Congratulations to all winners and thanks to Julian and the Raukawa International Raceway for another great day

RACEDAY!!

Race day!

James had a primo run last night! Qualified well and into the B final, had a great drive to place second which bumped him up to the A main. Ran consistently to place 2nd ! His PB. WELL DONE James and thanks again to the Raukawa International Raceway and Julian Hardy for another great night at the Citrus bowl

James and I had a blast at the Citrus bowl last night at the Raukawa International Raceway . James running a re finished Super Mario Bros. F150 body had a great night, finishing 4th in His final.
I have finally retired the old F150 "Craptor" body after 4 years of hammering and was sporting a new Slash body, new Low center of gravity chassis and fresh tyres, Took my first heat for the win, had some issues with the new body fouling the tyres, few adjustments and heat two saw me under steering wildly, Reset the suspension to heat ones spec and raised the body slightly, then found out id made my first A final! Started on the back row and ended up 4th overall so I'll take that as a win! Cars all cleaned and ready for next week!
