After leaving Tenerife and cruising across the Atlantic Ocean the ship encountered an unexpected strong gust of wind that caused the ship to list for a few minutes. Merchandise and glassware were thrown about and one person was injured and required hospital medical attention. The captain turned the ship around and headed to the nearest port, Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. We stopped for the day for supplies and refueling and are now on our way for seven sea days before reaching Miami. All is calm so far.
