⛳ Another visiting group at Pleasant Point!

It’s been a busy week at Pleasant Point Golf Club, with our second visiting group of the week joining us yesterday! 🙌

This time we had the pleasure of welcoming a great group from Clearwater Golf Club. They enjoyed a round of golf in some fantastic spring weather, followed by drinks and snacks in the clubhouse afterwards. 🍻☀️

We were especially pleased to hear how much they enjoyed their day, with Clearwater Club Captain taking the time to share a few words about their visit in the video below. 🎥⛳

Thanks to the Clearwater crew for making the trip to Pleasant Point — it was great having you and we hope to welcome you back again!

⛳🍻 The GOBs came to town! 🍻⛳

We had a great crew of 30 GOBs from Russley Golf Club descend on Pleasant Point today for a round of golf, a few refreshments and a good feed afterwards.

And we’re very happy to report… the GOBs had plenty to say about our course — and it was all good! 😂👏

They absolutely raved about the condition of the course, which is always fantastic to hear from visiting golfers and a great credit to everyone who puts in the work to keep it looking so good. ⛳

We opened the bar, fed the troops and thoroughly enjoyed having them here.

Thanks for visiting, GOBs! 🍻 We hope you enjoyed our little slice of South Canterbury and we’d love to have you back again.

Women's Golf Results played Saturday 29 August at Wednesday 2 September 2026.

Our congratulations go to Michelle Bower, Winner of the Jean Spence Trophy with a score of 73. This competition is a medal round played for by the ten Thinkwater Shootout Qualifiers. Runners up were Helen Taylor and Trish Crump with scores of 77.

Remaining golfers played a Stableford Round which was won by Lyn Callon with a score of 41. Division one runners up were Charlotte Low and Shelly Flintoft with 34 each, Division 2, Tonia Ryan with a score of 32 and Division 3, Glenda McConnell with 39 and Marg O'Neill on 37.
