Happy with some PRs seeing improvement. Experiencing progress is always enjoyable. There are Bumps & obstacles along the way & it’s not often a straight line but when goals are reached, it’s great to see. Making achievement worth the sacrifice

Completed my first powerlifting competition in over two years. With so many interruptions, the aim was to execute accurately as possible and go 9 for 9 completing every lift. I would have too, if I used my taringa’s properly & listened to the refs calls on my last bench attempt, 8 of 9 will have to do. The silver lining was I was stronger than anticipated & have some momentum going into the next one

Throwback to what .____ rates as the best photo he has ever taken of me so far. If that’s the case, I couldn’t not share it. Back in December 2021: Accurately peaked by conditioned for a natural bodybuilding competition last year, I couldn’t make it to the competition. However, the challenge is always worth it—the cliche; you vs you idea in fitness. Seeing how much you can improve is what I live for. I love seeing it in myself & others. I don’t specialise in the diet and nutrition it takes to look like this; I have more knowledge on hypertrophy & strength. If you need assistance in that area, I’m here to help. If you require assistance in your nutrition, I have some science friends that can help you get there &

Liston College is aiming to have a better 2022 for their First IX.
Their coach wants one thing from them, to get stronger. That’s what I primarily specialise in, & I can teach them that. They’ll need to be strong & physical to be competitive in Auckland Rugbys top division. The idea is to teach them how to move the weight, patience on progression, and maintain the strength they build throughout the whole season. They never lack motivation; it’s more about making sure they learn what is required. Knowing what we are doing & why we are doing it. The goal is always to make sure they execute with accuracy, so they progress without injury & they can transfer that strength to the field

My 2c on a technique Tuesday is an efficient exercise to teach & learn for hypertrophy. The incline press in a tucked elbow position (hands facing each other). The press performed this way is a great way to get the most out of a pressing movement, working the shoulders, upper chest & triceps. Joe here is new to lifting & has limited toile to train with uni & work. The Line of pull is not only efficient in targeting these areas but a much more achievable exercise for beginners to get right. Give it a go when you don’t have much time in the gym, keep things simple as you can, to achieve your goals ✌🏽

When we first met, she was in crutches, with a rare condition that temporarily paralyzed her. She was able to move again after her surgery but barely had the strength to walk. Small exercise after small exercise. Using patience & consistency, she now knows how to deadlift 20kgs, not perfect (disclaimer) but finding the position & executing with something you could call close to accurate. Prerna was over the moon, a considerable achievement. Small steps. Through lockdown, she followed her program to the T. That continuous effort has helped her achieve this much progress. Message me for help with your strength & movement ability
