My #1 Tip to get your workout done for Mummas with little ones...
The housework CAN WAIT
The dishes CAN WAIT
Folding that laundry CAN WAIT
The first opportunity you have to do something for yourself, you need to take it. Otherwise you are just constantly cleaning and doing things for others whilst not filling your own cup.
Its taken me a while to fully embrace this. At work, I tell lots of Mummas to do the same thing, with success.
Its not easy, but your physical and mental health is important

Im back to running 🏃♀️
My top tips for running post-partum:
❤️ I don't recommend trying running until you are at least 12 weeks post-partum
❤️ Wait until you are having minimal Pelvic Floor symptoms, such as pain, heaviness, inconvenience or any bleeding.
❤️ Start easy, with intervals of jogging and walking
❤️ Progress when you are feeling good and experiencing no new symptoms
❤️ Give yourself some horizontal rest. Getting horizontal takes the weight off your Pelvic Floor (especially if it's feeling a bit heavy)
❤️ As a boobie feeding Mumma - wear a tight sports bra over the top of your nursing bra. Keep the gals in tight!
❤️ Lastly, go easy on yourself, running when sleep deprived is haaaaaard! Do what you can, when you can.
(I just did 7km at 4.5 months PP)

My workouts at 38 weeks pregnant 😁
My exercise routine now looks like basic bodyweight and banded movements in between running after a toddler at the park.
It's been this and 30min walks most days of the week.
This time around I have been more tired (funny that!) and have avoided heavy weights after 32 weeks, as I have had heart-palpitations/dizzy episodes. The body is looking and feeling a bit different this time around - but that's okay. I know one day I'll get my fitness back!
The waiting game begins!
