⛳️ 🏆 *Congratulations* to the *Karen Mckenzie-Phillips and Bob Gairdner pairing*, taking out the *2026* 🏆 *Phillip McLeod Trophy* 🏆 with *Nett 66*. amongst an excellent field comprising 15 teams, and played in fine but windy conditions adding the obvious challenges. Competition was strong with the *Runner Up Score of 66.1 🥈 and *2nd Runner Up 67* 🥉
Thanks for a great turnout delivering a most enjoyable afternoon of golf.

All - further inspection thismorning has lead to the decision for the course to remain *CLOSED* for another 24 hours.
This is to allow water levels to reduce further and sodden high traffic areas to dry out.

A 🌞 day shaping up for golfing today ahead of some gloomy 🌧 ahead.
Todays Club Day event is the re-run of our 3rd and final *Club Champs Qualifying* and 3rd round of *John Dixon Putting Cup*, plus *Stableford, Longest Drive and CTP*.
ALL welcome - *12.30 Tee Off* 🏌️‍♂️ ⛳️

🏆🏆 *CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS - Result*... Mike Satterthwaite and Wil Bastings turned out at Weedons on Sunday amidst all the Club Champs for each Grade throughout the Canterbury Region, and some very stiff competition as expected.
Mike managed a handy 86 on the unfamiliar Course, and Wil presented a good card of 75. Unfortunately neither made it to the next level in the play offs but they can both be proud of their efforts while representing *Amuri Golf Club* at the event. Well done boys!

🏆 🏆*CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS - Draw.*
This *Sunday 7* June the Annual Canterbury Champion of Champions Tournament will Tee Off to determine who will raise the coverted trophies for 2026. The event will be held at Weedons Golf Club.

Competing for Amuri this year will be our very own *Wil Bastings (Senior) and Mike Satterthwaite (Intermediate)* up against fellow Club Champs from clubs throughout the Canterbury Region - competition will be stiff!
