It’s shaping up to be a wet one at Owen Delany this Saturday, so make sure everyone is packed for the conditions! 🌧️🧥

Due to another event being held at Owen Delany, we’ve had to make a few changes to this week’s schedule. Please take note of the updated game times and field allocations.

⏰ New start times:
• U6 & U7 — 9:00AM
• U8 & U9 — 10:00AM
• U11 — 10:00AM

Please also check the updated draw carefully, as field allocations have changed.

We’ve had some seriously frosty mornings lately, with temperatures dropping between -2°C and -6°C. Make sure everyone is layered up and ready for the cold!

The South King Country U13 boys team travelled to Te Kūiti Saturday to take on King Country North U13 boys.
It was a tough day in the office for these boys who left it all on the field, unfortunately the North KC came away with the win.

🏉 King Country U13 Girls Champions 🏆

The South King Country U13 girls team travelled to Te Kūiti Saturday to take on King Country North U13 girls.

A special shout out to our Taupo Sport player Lilly Tokalauvere our only u13 girl.

You should be very proud of your effort, we are so very proud of you. You are resilient and a force on the field!

From the coach "From the start the girls were strong which I expected dominating the North KC side in attack and defence being very competitive not giving the opposition any opportunities.

Because it was 10 aside this presented a lot more space for our kotiro to use to their advantage and play a more open game of rugby rather than to a set structure all the girls played with passion strength aggression and grit which is a reflection of how they played during the season"
