One week on from an amazing day of racing at the 2026 BOP/Waikato Schools Triathlon champs.

We witnessed some very close racing & with some of NZ's best in their age groups competing it was great to be a part of.

Now as we close in to only 1 month from the NZ Schools Triathlon Champs don't forget to enter & show how the BOP/Waikato region is looking to dominate at these champs.

Remember day 2 of the Champs is Regional Mixed Relay champs. We missed out by only a few points to Southland in 2025, so this year we want to take home the Shane Reed shield.

What a Day for Our Youth Crew! Last Tuesday our Triathlon Tauranga Youth Members lined up at the BOP / Waikato Schools Triathlon Championships and absolutely delivered. The podium was busy… and our athletes were very much part of the traffic! 🥇🥈🥉

Well we got the event completed.

It may have been a month late, but a big thanks to everyone who came along & help create a great 2025 BOPSS champs.

Huge thanks to the Schools, Sport Coordinators, parents & caregivers for getting the kids along to the event. Some great racing & a number of the youth showing great form as they head to the NZ Schools champs in Wanaka next week.
