A couples pole session with Dani at her new beautiful studio. Firstly it was such a welcoming space, Dani made us feel instantly comfortable and at ease and clearly explained what we were in for.

We spent over 2hours with her where we both learnt things we thought we could never do! It was challenging but so much fun.

Me and Dani then spent a but of time learning a short routine that I performed alone for my husband- lets just say he was very impressed 😉 to finish we took some amazing hot photos!

Such a great experience for a couple, the best date day! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back again x

Classes are on hold indefinitely 🥹

We started to have issues with the flooring very shortly after I took over the lease. The previous owner and the landlord decided to put cheap vinyl down over carpet - which if you know anything about pole dancing, is not a safe or wise choice.

There were a few minor issues which we managed to work around but then it became a matter of whether I felt like the studio was safe enough to operate at the capacity we were pushing through it. The short answer is no.

I’m proud of what happened in La Femmes short time and how quickly it took off. I’m also excited to hit the ground running in another area and see what we can do there too and to watch the LFS fam grow again 🙏

Ness is such a hoot to teach and always give every move a go and nails it! Even when we make her do her favourite moves like shoulder mounts and twisty splitty things 😅

Ness has already stepped out of her comfort zone already so many times since the studio opened - we love to see it 🥰

Our first choice for our Femme Fave or Member of the week to acknowledge is TIFF 😍

Tiff always comes into class bearing a smile and ready to have a giggle. She gives everything 100% and loves adding her own flare to the Dance classes!

Our new FFF style classes (Flow, Freestyle and Film) are right up Tiffs alley and we always love to see what she’s going to whip up 🥵

• We are a members only studio. 🔐

• Anyone wanting to become a member has to do a meet and greet with one of the instructors in the studio in person. They will discuss your membership options and terms and show you how to use the booking app. 📲

• We do not offer free trials - the amount of messages I get swamped with asking for free classes and when I finally offer a discount or slot someone into a class, people don’t show up. So now, favours only go to our members who I love to absolutely spoil if I get the chance ✨

• We have a no mean girls policy - if you aren’t a girls girl who is here to support other females, please don’t enquire. 👯‍♀️

• We offer one, two, four and six class a week memberships - and have flexible fortnightly options as well! There are also 3 class starter packs to see which membership works best for you 💪

• We are a boutique studio and will have a maximum number of members we are able to accomodate 🙏

• We have 7 instructors currently and 15 classes to choose from - we will consider expanding the timetable if enough members make the request. I am so grateful we have so many talented ladies who can teach as I can only make it down from Tauranga once a week + have a hamstring injury which hinders my instructing 💜

• We are located in Rotorua CBD 📍

I’m someone that is falling back in love with pole after a couple of years of life taking charge away from the sport.

Being back on the pole has reminded me of the rush and excitement that comes with pole dancing regardless of skill level.

I’m thankful to have the chance to show you how much fun pole can be, and I can’t wait support you wherever you are on your pole journey. 💜

Bring ya friend or meet some friends there, come and have a gentle full body stretch with a drink or two (no obligation and non alcoholic is fine too)

Wrap up the week and unwind - or come in and stretch and get primed for a night on the town 💃 maybe go and support our girls at Ikandi - Rotorua just around the corner!

Drink responsibly, ensure you don’t hurt yourself inside or outside the studio and most importantly make sure you make arrangements to get home safely 💜

Heyy, I’m Charlize!

I started pole when Dani opened La Femme Studio in April this year, and i’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve fallen in love with every part of it; dance, flow, stretch, and of course, pole.

This space has helped me grow so much in such a short time. the energy, the people, and the way it lifts you up. It’s the kind of place where you might walk in a little weighed down or low, but you always leave with a smile.

i’m so excited to keep learning and to be part of your journey too. let’s move, grow, feel good and nail those splits together!

I am filling in for Dani while she is away and taking Stretch classes!

Charli is such a vibe in the studio and it’s amazing to watch her thrive herself but also support others starting their journey 🥰💜

Kia ora, I’m Eden!

I’ve been doing pole for 18 months now and perform and teach under the name Eden.

Pole dancing has been a powerful way to reconnect with my body and give creativity form. I aim to continue learning through teaching and am constantly inspired by what we discover together in the studio.

Whether you’re here to try something new, build strength, or simply feel good in your skin, I’m excited to cheer you on every step of the way.

Eden is well know in the studio and has a wonderful, warm and welcoming personality - she will be teaching our Intro to Pole classes 😍

With our current timetable and over 40 ladies already in our community, we are at capacity so not taking on any new casual members. This is so that our ladies who have made the commitment to attend every week can guarantee space in their favourite classes. 💃

From July there will be a few changes, including membership prices (for new members), the booking system and also adding more classes to the timetable at 1pm and 4:30pm 🙏

What will we do?
We will be dividing our time between getting grounded & embodied, going over some drills to help improve control & movement quality, skill development (leg waves, body waves, reverse waves, lateral waves, finding opportunities for waves & floor waves) and a short, simple choreo incorporating some of what we went over on the day.
