Last week was excited to welcome Anne Audain to the club. Anne told stories of travels as an athlete that took her all round the world from the Olympics to World Cross Country and Commonwealth Games glory. Hopefully one of many great events to come for the club!

Are we getting old or are kids these days just so fast! 😀
Another record breaking performance yesterday at the Tauranga Twilight Meet with Lisa Hellyer (Onehunga High School) breaking the NZ women's under-19 1,000m record, running a 2:45.19 to break Rebekah Aitken head's 2010 record of 2:45.99. Lisa's twin sister - Sarah - also went under the old record, registering a time of 2:45.83.
Things took an unexpected turn during the Men's 3,000m.
