Just a quick panui about uniform.

A reminder to all players and whānau that our playing uniform is our Pirates Rugby Jersey, Pirates Shorts and either short or long Pirates Socks.
Plain black is ok for our younger players but a reminder to our older tamariki- our uniform is as above.

▪︎No different types of shorts or coloured socks thank you.

Big things happening for kotiro and wahine in the rugby scene leading into the future, and this is where it starts. Get them along if you can 🏴‍☠️☠️🏴‍☠️☠️

***Tamatea Primary School***
Tamariki are ok to play on the playground, as long as the rest of the kura is out of bounds please.

There have been recent situations where sadly the school has been deliberately damaged whilst rugby games are taking place.

Tamatea Primary is an important and valued part of our wider Pirates whānau, so respect, common sense and keeping an eye out would much appreciated.

It is with immense pride that we can now announce that Hana Symes has been selected in the New Zealand Māori Under 13 Kōtiro Rugby League team after her fantastic performance for Ngāti Kahungunu over the weekend. Hana has been a stand out for U/13s the past 2 years and puts a huge amount of extra work in each week.
Hana will represent her country against Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, Tokelau, Niue and Cook Islands in October. Ka mau te wehi e Hana OAPAAP

Extremely proud of these mana kotiro Hana symes and Mel Savaii who were selected to represent their whanau, iwi and pirates in the national Maori u13s kotiro tournament over the long weekend. We are extremely proud of the girls in our club and very lucky to have these two leading from the front. Ka rawe korua!!!! More to come on this soon ....
