CX Sunday is part of the AOTEAROA CROSSFEST.
A huge day celebrating Cyclocross.

Including the final round of Southern Cross CX for the year, Teams Race, Lighthouse Beer Hand-up Race and fun spot prizes from our epic partners.

After all the seriousness of Saturday racing, Sunday will be all about bikes, beer and banter.
For those that have travelled for Nationals, be sure to hang around for Sunday racing, you won't be disappointed!

For our regular clubbies, please note rego closes 30mins prior to each race & remember your SCCX Club race plates for Sunday racing....

We will have a coffee cart at the venue. The Chippy and Lighthouse Brewery will also be there to keep you feed and watered!

And don't forget the always anticipated Lollydrop - thanks to The Chippy.

We also have the last pair of Julbo Junior Glasses to give away for the 'SCCX Junior Spirit of SCCX.'

are excited that the 2023 Cyclo Cross National Championships are happening this Sunday 14 August 2022 in Christchurch at the KartSport track hosted by Southerncross Cyclocross. The UCI sanctioned National Championships will again be staged as part of the Aotearoa CrossFest, which is happening on Saturday 14 at Kart Sport which includes the clubs final round for the ‘22 Season.

Head on down, bring your bells & banter, support an EPIC event on the cycling calendar.

Cyclo Cross National Championships Don't know what cyclo cross is? Cyclo Cross is a form of cycling, usually consisting of many laps of a short course featuring pavement, wooded trails, grass, steep hills and obstacles requiring the rider to quickly dismount and carry their bike while navigating the obstruction and remount.

We are glad you asked. Saturday is the FUN FILLED FESTIVAL DAY with multiple races, including RD6 of SCCX. This day is for EVERYONE. Sunday - Cycling New Zealand NATIONAL CX CHAMPS, bring your bikes, banter and bells!
