Space cannot be grasped. It cannot be seen, heard, tasted or touched. Yet everything is space. We are space. This is why people like His Holiness the Dalai Lama are very fascinated by quantum physics, especially the fact that nothing is independent from its own side. Everything is interdependent. One time His Holiness the Dalai Lama met a Quantum Physicist, who said to him, "when they discuss these matters, I just don’t understand how you can know this without machines." And His Holiness said, "I don’t know how you understand this without meditation."

Rest in poetry that speaks to your soul. Rest in a shared laugh with someone you love, or the feel of the softest fur against your skin while you bury your face in the belly of your furry friend.
Just Rest. And in resting, renew.
Getting Radical with Compassion: how to stay mindful over the holiday season Another blog from the past - this one offering a few ways to stay true to yourself over what is often a tricky time of year.
