Did you know you can compete in the unaffiliated classes in bitless, Western style and have all your tests called? A great way to get into dressage and develop your basic horsemanship.

So whats on offer at WRC Dressage? Beautiful rosettes, rugs for championship winners (20th November end of series) and even some products!

At least as good as these are you will have the opportunity to work on your goals; develop that elusive square halt, work towards an established shoulder in or whatever.

For those doing the unaffiliated tests the lovely Veronica has popped the tests up on the EVO site for you to download. They are not that different from the ESNZ registered tests but some subtle differences that can impact on your accuracy. Gosh that reminds me I need to get started on learning my test!

Not only do we have a fabulous range of rallies, speaker-dinners, hacknix and chatnix and WRC Dressage in December we run the Christmas Ribbon Day on 12th Dec at Kaiapoi Pony Club. We're starting to gather sponsorship to run this day and here are some of the photos of Ring Sponsors, HERO! Ridden Standardbred.

We always love receiving updates like this! 🙌

Last year, HERO was proud to sponsor the Standardbred classes at the Waimakariri Riding Club Ribbon Day, and it was fantastic to hear the ring was full 😍

Even better — around 25% of the club’s 130 members own Standardbreds! 👏

A huge thank you to Waimakariri Riding Club for sending through these photos and their thank you card. It’s great to see so many Standardbreds getting out there and being such a big part of their local riding club 🦄

Two weeks to go. We appreciate early entries so we can work out how many arenas to put up. We got 64 entries last time so lets hope we can get more this time!
A few facts and interesting things about our days.
a) The arenas are prepared well in advance and benefit from a wonderful grooming efforts of Johnny Hustler and team
b) For the unaffiliated tests you can ride in bitless bridles. Yes its true and would like to see you out and about.
c) You can also ride in Western gear. We're not bothered. We just want your gear to be safe and you to be comfortable.
d) We will be having a BBQ. From 11am onwards and this time will be located near the Beans 'n' Berries coffee cart.
e) The lovely Veronica has put copies of the Unaffiliated, USDF tests, on the schedule part of EVO when you login to our event.
