The weather cleared up and provided a nice afternoon at Bishop Park for some Masters football. Tawa Legends Over 45's played before us and congrats to them for getting the win 3-2 which set the benchmark.

We have a quite a few injuries with some returning. Despite this, Everyone put in an incredible effort on the pitch in attack and defense. Special mention to our outstanding goalkeeper Roger for his goal assist and making a second penalty save for the season.

Its great to have Bruce back, who made an impact with a goal assist and a banger of a goal in the top corner from a free kick . Two goals to Dele who continues his goal scoring form.

A bit of a slow start for us last week which saw us go down against Petone. Credit to Petone as they played well and scored 2 early goals. We managed to get 1 back before half time from Will Ung.

Great game against the Destroyers last week in the wet weather. Destroyers took the lead early with 2 goals but Dads army fought back to draw the game.

Tawa Dad's Army will be taking on the Stoke Valley Destroyers away out at Harcourt park in Upper Hutt at 2.30pm.

It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Onepoto Park, with a gentle breeze. Both teams displayed some good performances in their first match of the season, and congratulations to Miramar for securing the victory. Miramar found the net in the opening half, while we managed to equalize early in the second half thanks to Sukee setting up Dele's decisive goal. However, lapses in our defensive line allowed Miramar to seize an opportunity and score late in the second half.

We'll focus on the positives and carry them into our game against Stoke Valley this week.
