Yesterday was a good one ☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the Women’s Football Social Tournament + Pop-Up Skills Lesson yesterday. We loved seeing so many of you out there playing, supporting each other, and just enjoying the game in the beautiful Welly weather !

Join us for a relaxed, beginner-friendly football skills lesson before the Women’s Football Social Tournament.

This lesson is for women and gender-diverse folk aged 18+ who want to learn the basics in a supportive and non-judgemental environment !

You might be:
• completely new to football
• returning after a break
• looking to build confidence before joining a team
• keen to move your body and meet new people

No experience needed. No pressure.

You can sign up as an individual and we’ll place you into a team! Individual players can be placed into teams in both our Social-Competitive and Competitive divisions.

Each player just needs to sign up individually, then add your friends’ names in the registration comments and we’ll group you together.

The learning doesn’t stop 💙

While the season may have wrapped, a number of our coaching staff were in learning mode this past weekend at a coaching development course designed for the Women’s Football Centre, the perfect way to kick off New Zealand Football's Girls' and Women's Month.

Led by Capital Football, one of our key partners and supporters since the very beginning, the course is part of our ongoing work to keep raising the standard of what we deliver.
