Island Bay Bowling Club

Congratulations to our Champ fours teams who represented our Club beautifully in the Champ of Champs today!! And special note to our Women's team of Marlene Kay, Assunta, Jane Bambery, and Carmela Ercolano who made it through to the semi-finals to be played on 17/18 May - Go the Bay!!

Thanks Bowls Wellington!! We have a lot of work to do on Sunday and Monday if any friends of Island Bay Bowling Club are in the area and want to lend a hand - we need to clear the whole Club - a big mission. Any help would be most greatly appreciated 🌺🌺

Thanks so much to all our members and friends who came to help today - the two Greens are looking brilliant!! So much physical work out there today and plenty of Club spirit, laughs, and friendly competition. And thanks too for the beautiful food provided - delicious and nutritious.

Also, thanks so much to Mitre 10, Tory St who donated all the brooms, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment for us - they even dropped it off at the Club - we're very grateful.

Sunday Working Party - we won't be able to do any indoor work, but there's plenty to keep us busy outdoors including clearing the shed out, cleaning the surrounds - benches, planter boxes, ditches etc. If you're available it would be great to see people there from 10am.

And we have some great representative play on the weekend - thanks to our Club Champs in the Fours and the Mixed 242 who are going out to represent our Club at the Champ of Champs on Saturday and Sunday - know that we are proudly supporting you Michael and Carmela on Saturday, and on Sunday the men Chris Rintoul, Michael, Nico, and Richard, and the women Marlene, Assunta, Jane, and Carmela. Go the Bay!
