We’re super excited to welcome Nick Comer to the WeZouk teaching team! 🥳

Nick has been dancing Zouk for nearly a decade, after seeing it on the social floor and becoming hooked on its dynamic, flowing movements.

He has performed and competed regularly in latin partner dances across New Zealand and Australia, including reaching the Intermediate category in Brazilian Zouk Jack and Jill.

Nick has completed certification as an instructor with Kadu and Larissa through their teacher training courses, is a registered BZDC judge, and is excited to share his learnings with the community 😍.

With its origins in Lambada, Bolero and Samba, this beautiful flowing contemporary style partner dance is stunning to watch, and even more enjoyable to dance.

Back in 2010 I sat in the New Zealand Salsa Congress and watched a performance. A beautiful flowing dance that captivated and entranced me. I knew then and there that I was smitten. I needed to know what this graceful movement was.

Once I discovered Brazilian Zouk, I never looked back. The endless possibilities, the connection, musically, expression. I’d been looking for these things for a long time, and here they were. All rolled into this amazing artform.

After many years of teaching, festivals, workshops, performances, flashmobs, one on one privates with the founders of the dance, my passion is just as strong as that first wonderful encounter.

I’d love to share that passion with you.
