Yay! We sold out the 30 seats we had available in the smaller cinema at the Penthouse Cinema and Cafe, Wellington for our screening, so we've now moved to Cinema 2, which is wheelchair accessible and has a capacity of 66.

So get your tickets now and join us! See you next Tuesday night!

We're super excited to be working with to be holding a fundraising screening of 'Big Girls Don't Cry' on Tuesday 29 September at .

"Rural New Zealand, 2006. Over one transformative summer, 14-year-old Sid Bookman discovers desire, identity and the internet, as she imitates the people she longs to be loved by."

Our screening will be done with open captions for all our Deaf, ESL and ADHD community who find it easier to process that way.

Money raised goes to support the Wellington Pride Festival, Aotearoa's longest-running Pride celebration. The festival is for the community by the community, and we're all volunteers.

We've got so many things going on soon that we thought we should put them all in a clear list.

- TODAY from 5.30pm is Living In Colour at the Dowse Museum
- Next Saturday the 26th is our free badge-making workshop at Te Whare Kahukura
- On Tuesday 29 September we are doing a fundraising screening of 'Big Girls Don't Cry'
- 8 October is GiveOUT Day when all your donations to us will be doubled, and we're having a cocktail party put on for us by Wellington Pride Parade and the Party Boys
- 13 October is our monthly games night Board Gaymes at Te Whare Kahukura

Hey let's play!

Join us on Tuesday 8 September a for q***r's gambit of game playing.

Board Gaymes is held at Te Whare Kahukura o Te Awa Kairangi - Hutt Valley Rainbow Hub , 2/330 High Street Lower Hutt, every second Tuesday of the month, 7pm-9pm.

We'll have a mix of games from Bananagrams to Scrabble to Settlers of Catan, as well as some snacks, but feel free to bring your own games and snacks too.

Everyone who comes with love and respect is welcome - if you're under 14, please bring a parent or guardian.

__Accessibility__

- Te Whare Kahukura is wheelchair accessible
- Bathrooms are gendered but please use whichever one is best for you
- Lighting is fluorescent
- Sturdy seating is provided
- Please feel free to wear a mask.

Join us for a free afternoon of badge-making at Whare Kahukura o Te Awa Kairangi - Hutt Valley Rainbow Hub on Saturday 26 September in Lower Hutt.

Hang out in a safe rainbow space, get your craft on, make some new friends and come away with something shiny at the end of it!

This workshop is completely free thanks to Hutt City Council, and is organised by Wellington Pride Festival.

- Come any time between 1pm-4pm

- We'll provide all the materials, though you are also welcome to bring your own magazines, paper or art to include

- This workshop is for the rainbow community and those who come with love & respect

- All ages are welcome, but if you're under 14, please bring a parent, guardian or older sibling with you

You can just drop in on the day but registering in advance below helps us predict how much material we need to bring with us.
