As May comes to an end, we wanted to take a moment to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to every single person who supported our fundraiser for Brain Tumour Support NZ.
Our original goal was to run 100km during May. We reached that milestone by 24 May, so we decided to move the goalpost and keep going. By the end of the month, we had completed an incredible 150km.
This challenge was deeply personal for us. We undertook it in memory of Dylan’s best mate, Alex, who was sadly taken from us in January after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma. Alex was a wonderful friend, husband, father, and an all-round amazing person who is missed every day.
Every kilometre we ran was for Alex. It was our way of honouring his memory while also playing a small part in supporting the incredible work that Brain Tumour Support NZ does for individuals and families facing the devastating impact of brain tumours.
We are so grateful to everyone who donated, shared our fundraiser, encouraged us, and cheered us on throughout the month. Your generosity and support mean more than we can put into words.
It has also been incredibly special to know that while we were completing our kilometres here in New Zealand, Alex’s beautiful wife Tanya and their children were taking part from Mansfield, Australia. Despite the distance between us, we were united by the same purpose — celebrating Alex’s life and supporting a cause that means so much to all of us.

We will be running 100km over the month of May.
We lost Dylan's best mate (Alex) to Glioblastoma in January this year and there is so much more study to be done so would love to help be a small part in making this happen.

Pounded the pavement to bank some more km’s! With 2 days to go we are stting at 124km complete for the month 💥

Managed to stack some more km’s over the last 2 nights! Officially 75km complete! Aiming to be at 100km by end of week and then everything next week will be an added bonus! And let’s just say the competition between the two of us has been ramping up 🤭 Let’s goooooo! 🔥

After 5 days of being full of cold, I managed to catch D this arvo after he banked another 14km this morning. All up D is sitting at 60km complete and I am at 61km for the month!

A wee solo trot for Dylan last night, he had needling in his leg so set him back a bit. Now I have managed to pick up a chest infection from somewhere, so am having some rest days, hopefully back into it tomorrow! Dylan is sitting at 46km complete and I am at 52km 🔥

He kindly printed and supplied our DTF (direct-to-film) transfers for us that we then pressed onto tees! Shayne and the team do screenprinting, design + DTF (on their new machine)! Give them a like and follow + hit them up if you need any garment printing!
