Derrynasagurt Silver will be standing again at Wai Eyre Farm in Canterbury (NZ) this breeding season, with fresh chilled semen available for shipment to New Zealand and Australian breeders.
Silver is an outstanding Class 1 imported Irish Draught stallion, by Fast Silver, who is a Class 1 Gold Merit stallion and out of the Class 1 mare Tana’s Queen.
Class 1 is the highest classification awarded through the Irish Draught inspection system and can only be attained in Ireland or the UK.
To achieve Class 1 stallions undergo rigorous assessment, including 5 stage veterinary examination, temperament and type assessment, and performance testing on the flat and over fences.
Silver achieved his Class 1 status at just three years of age, demonstrating the exceptional quality, temperament and athletic ability that he has continued to develop into his mature years.
