Expanding its portfolio since 1984, Al Sarooj Group currently owns and operates around 54 filling station (60% owned) spread all over the sultanate and has a turnover of OMR 60 Million (equivalent to USD 150 Million) and over 500 employees. We are dedicated to customer satisfaction by providing quality services in a timely manner as well as the provision of added value services (retail and fast fo
od) through team work and commitment to continual improvement. Our outstanding performance has opened up the international scene and expanded our activities to Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, & UAE. The diversity and variety in each of these markets has enabled us to develop and implement tailored solutions and to provide consultancy services –in developing sites infrastructure, designing, engineering, and supervision- in retail stations, service stations, car washes and convenience stores. For our investors and partners, we aim to maximize sale through ongoing program of capital investment of existing sites and best practice management across our portfolio. We are a component of Al Taher Group of companies which consists of 25 firms that has a cumulative experience over 200 years in numerous field including construction, engineering, real estate, trading, retail, oil extraction and refinement. Al Sarooj Group was founded in 1984. Its first Filling Station operation started on the 18th of February at the Rusail roundabout followed by Sarooj Filling Station on the 7th of April same year. It now proudly owns and operates 54 filling stations where it sells 456 Million Liters per year which represents around 25% of the total volume in the sultanate of Oman. The majority of the filling stations are full service stations that include vehicle service centers, car wash stations, and convenience stores. The company rapid success has definitely been driven by its management approach through investing in Human Asset and site renovation; Al Sarooj Group allocates a great amount of money every year towards employee training to meet international standards and to preserves an accident free working days at all its sites.
