Ever been to Marrakech, Morocco? I’ve been many times. Magical place, full of colour, amazing food and incredible scenery. If you stay in a traditional riad, that’s the most authentic experience in my opinion. I even had a peacock on my terrace - I think he enjoyed the view to the Atlas Mountains as much as I did!

A small change around here…
I started this page focused on hiking, but over time I realised what I really love is travel as a whole—the places, the stays, the feeling of discovering somewhere well.
So this is now The Kirsty Travel Edit—a space for carefully chosen places, ideas and inspiration.
I’ll still share outdoor finds, but also the hotels I’d book, destinations I think are worth it (and a few that aren’t), and the kind of travel that stays with you.
