Hot off the Press from Captain Alan:

'Wasn't a great trip coming down to Witu from New Hanover, so just went an hid in Widu Harbour for first dive, thinking we wouldn't see much. Well, it was certainly going off!!! Robust, Halameda and Harlequin Ghost Pipe Fish, Mimic and Blue Ring Octopussies etc etc etc'.

SO GOOD!!! Goes to show that the critters don't care too much about the weather, and the trusty captain knows how to put the smiles back on his diver's faces.

Silly Sunday

This clips is brought to you by a true nutter who filmed it swimming in circles on the spot. No fancy tech here. But divers are a rare breed who go anywhere and do anything to get a new underwater perspective. You're welcome 😜😍

Happy Sunday

Today you're invited to celebrate with us the extraordinary diversity of life on Earth for International Day for Biological Diversity.

From coral reefs to rainforests, city parks to remote mountains, suburbs to farms, every species in every habitat plays a role in the web of life that connects us all regardless of where we live β€” including large and iconic to the tiny easily overlooked and common.

One simple way to contribute to global conservation is through iNaturalist. By recording nature sightings β€” birds, mushrooms, flowers, reef fish, turtles, nudibranchs and anything that interests you β€” your observations can support researchers and biodiversity projects around the world.

Every observation matters. Every species matters.🌏🌿πŸͺΈ
