Timothy Tuna’s 2026 season got off to a flying start recently with top performances in the 150m and 300m time trials held at the Sir John Guise Stadium, posting times of 15.6 and 33.6 respectively. His 150m time equals the national record for hand timing set by Leroy Kamau in 2021. The 33.6sec clocking in the 300m is considered unofficial at this stage due to timekeeping considerations.Nonetheless its an outstanding performance. Daniel Baul also ran very well in this race, clocking 34.3 secs. Robert Oa also recorded an excellent 34.7secs shortly after his first hurdles trial of the season.
