Voco Point Park - Lae

Hi Lae City,

Just to inform the residents of our city. We have no other recreational areas for our city. The only place for your weekend out is Voco Point Park where all four corners of Lae City enjoy their weekends for swimming and doing other activities.
For those who are coming in for holiday breaks other purpose, you're most welcome.

For security wise, our youths are funded by Lae City Authority through the initiative of our good ward councilor Mr Michael for ward (2)two LULLG so your safety is quarantined.

You're.all welcome during weekends and holidays .

For those people living in Morobe coastline. Aigris is temporary closed at the moment. People who used Aigris as your dockyard and some or informal sector can move to Voco Point dockyard, especially those who are living in Morobe Coastline.

Voco Point User Pay Toilet is out of service for many years now. Can the Lae City Authority make it as a priority to fix this up because it's the very important service for the people using the Hilma Wong Friendly Park and the people who are travelling to and from the coastal villages.

The Park and the beach front had been cleaned up by the youths from the Geks Community of the nearby settlement. These are volunteer youths did this without any help from the authority.

So what we need now is for the authority (LCA) to make it a priority to fix the toilet for the public to use. At the the moment the human waste are all over the place.

Youths at Voco Point are cutting grass and cleaning the park voluntarily.

The public who are going there for swimming or picnic pls do mindful of your rubbish.

ALL VISITORS FROM THE HIGHLANDS REGION AND NEARBY COASTAL PRVINCES OF PNG.

VOCO POINT PARK OF LAE CITY IS THE PLACE TO BE FOR A SWIM OR PICNIC.

Hallo Lae City. Voco Point Park is trouble free, peaceful and enjoyable unlike it was before. You are most welcome to have a swim or have picnic on the park.
If anybody wants to have a boat trip, we have boats available to take you to as far as Sipaia or Main Aigris K1.00 only
