SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT | Papua New Guinea National Team squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026—Oceania Qualifiers was announced today in a Press Conference ahead of the team’s departure for Fiji on Monday.
The team welcomed back veteran talisman Raymond Gunemba who was recalled to add experience to the team. Christianus Biasu, Judah Asar, Shane Sakael and Logan Biwa will be making their debut for the National Team.

PREVIEW: FOOTBALL lovers in Morobe will catch the glimpse of the cream of footballers when PNGFA Academy host the triple header this weekend.
In the opening match, United Highlands will host Hekari United in what could be an entertaining match.
Hekari sits on top while the Highlanders on seven points in the 8-team competition.
In the second match, Lae City Dwellers host Gulf Komara.
The match should be a thriller while in the local derby, FC Morobe Wawens will host Lae City FC.
All three matches should be spectacular and the fans will be treated well to the final whistle.
