Despite all odds, We have for the first time achieved a milestones by officially registering Jimi League to PNGRFL and Highlands Confederate this year 2023.

Youths let's come together, participate, co-operate and embrace this platform to keep it going for the years to come. It is a great foundation that will build us to be mentally and physically healthy and unite us from different communities as one in Jimi League.
We have for ages climbed mountains, crossed rivers, walked distance just to play footy and have a taste of it. Now we have it, let's appreciate it and make use of it.

Rugby has become a national Sport and all other centres around the country have been taking part and many youths have excelled through in the names of Emmanuel Waine, Samuel Yangip, Francis Kembis, Joe Frank etc. It's not yet too late for us, we have many young talented youths and upcoming stars who are not being exposed because we had no league in the district for the past years. We have it now, let's give a start. We may not produce good result in the first 1-4/5 years but will still catch up and become bigger and better when our younger generation grow up with it.

This year will be used as awareness and preparation year for the league. This will include
1.preparation of the playing fields starting from Ambullua, Kol, Gobo, Olna, Konmandang, Tup, TAPI, Kuiyop and etc. to prepare their playing fields.
2. Identification of the participating teams for both man and women division_ senior and junior
3 Education and training of the basic rugby skills and ethics.
So get prepared for this year.
