If you knew how quickly people would forget you after your death, you will not seek to please anyone but GOD.

This is what I'm visualizing as I see our players kick the ball...

This is good advice guys from one of the best in the business.

It’s crucial for every player to know their strengths and weaknesses.

The best players stick to their strengths during games!

Well, team, 2021 presents us all with an opportunity to prepare well for the challenges that lie ahead as we kick start our title defence with the Koupa FA pre-season this week. Like everything else in life, we need to acknowledge Our God and Our Father, Jehovah the Great I AM for its by grace that we have been able to accomplish all things. His daily presence is imperative to ensure our lives have meaning and purpose.

In Jesus name, I encourage you all to continue the weekend fellowships and team bonding sessions for we must all aspire to live in accordance with God's Word as the surest way to Heaven is through Christ Jesus, our Lord and Saviour. Encourage one and other and let nothing steal your joy or your peace. Show respect for and one another by being truthful and honest at all times. We must endeavour to show the community and the world as a whole that our club stands on its core value of "RESPECT" 24/7 to the glory and honour of God, our Father.

Remember if YOU TRAIN well then you will play well.

God bless you all.

"Am I Bearing Fruits Worthy Of Repentance?"

09/09/2020

Our objective to win one more soul for Jesus remains as fresh and real as ever when we first started the journey as a village based football club under the auspices of a sports discipleship ministry.

As God is for us who can be against us. There are some members who have been tempted/induced by the trappings of this world and subsequently reverted to worldly pursuits/desires and aligned with other interests/clubs who don't share in the same objectives that we have.

Whilst I'm sad to hear that they will no longer be with us on this journey we respect the choices that they have made and we continue to pray for them and love them sincerely with the love of the Lord. We bless them in Jesus name and wish them well. We hope that by the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that they will come to the knowledge of the truth in accordance with our Father's plan, purpose and will for each one of them here on earth as it is in heaven.

For the members and supporters who have remained and continue to hold fast to the vision that I shared during the course of our inaugural formation meeting last year, I salute you and commend you all for your resilience and steadfastness. God knows its been a very challenging time but there is light at the end of the tunnel and I continue to trust in the Lord for He has a better plan in store for us.

By God's grace the plans we discussed in our club meeting we held in January remain on track and I will be in contact soon with Uncle Vagi, Robin and the rest of the club management to place everything in perspective.

My prolonged absence and or silence should not be construed as a sign of the clubs lack of functionality and operationality. But rather its a sign that I'm continuing to seek the Lord's guidance, direction and agenda for the higher end objective of this football club which is to win one more soul for Jesus. That objective is woven into the the soul and existence of this club and I praise God for everyone who remains committed to this worthy cause.

Our current situation draws similar parallels with the story of Gideon and his army of 300 men in Judges Chapter 6. We must obey and trust the Lord with whatever He gives us in order to achieve an outcome that is for His glory alone.

In the story, God reduced Gideon's army from 32,000 to 300. 300 farmers who overnight became soldiers facing an enemy of 150,000 strong battle hardened warriors. A very compelling and fearsome situation that in this day and age would send even the most bravest of persons running for cover.

However this was not be, God needed to show Gideon and the people of Israel His power and might in order for them to believe that He was Jehovah The Great I AM. So if we take the lessons from Gideon's experience, we as a club and a ministry must do the best we can with whatever the Lord has been gracious enough to provide to overcome the challenges that we encounter. In this way God and not man, gets the glory for all the accomplishments attained in the most difficult of environments and situations.

The more we become dependent, obedient and trusting of God, our Father; our club and ministry will grow from to strength to strength. To God be all the glory, honor and praise.

I encourage you all to remain committed to the club and the ministry in Jesus name.

God bless you all,

Jerry B.

Thank you to you all who in your spare moments dropped in to visit our page. We have been quiet on this page for sometime as I have subjected myself to a self-imposed sabbatical in an effort to seek the Lord's direction, agenda and Will for my life. Please forgive me if I have not been in touch with you all. One fine day, Lord willing I will bear witness to my absence and silence as such.

Its been a very challenging last couple of months which is good in the sense that it has caused me to depend and rely on the Lord daily during times of stress and very trying circumstances. Notwithstanding, the Lord has been very gracious to my family and I as He has been to you all as well.

These are unprecedented times brought about by the global pandemic COVID-19. So on behalf of my family and I, we would like to take this opportunity to sincerely appeal to club management, players and their families, supporters and like to seek God and focus on Jesus as the Author and Perfecter of our faith during these times. We continue to uphold you all in all our prayers and proclaim God's Word in Psalm 91 upon you all daily.

Its by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that we will overcome as He will grant us refuge, strength and be our very present help in trouble. The Lord will also give us the peace, joy, love, humility, wisdom, knowledge and understanding to respect authority and abide by all the protocols that have been issued by our government through the Office of the COVID-19 SOE Controller.

Freedom of Choice is not without great responsibility and consequences. Seek the Lord's guidance daily and by His grace your choices will be the right ones for you and those you love.

Lord willing, we hope to resume our Saturday evening club fellowships on the mission grounds at Koupa as soon as the circumstances permit us to do so.

Last but not the least, take good care of yourselves, pray without ceasing, encourage and support each other with the peace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ and importantly keep your thoughts pure and towards our Father in heaven.

God bless and keep you all well

Ps: I dont have a phone so you can contact me via Fb or messenger and I hope to respond as when I have good access to the Internet.
