Last night saw the President of Netball PNG, Ulato Avei and her hardworking Board Members in Boe Eno Daera, Lawrence Lahari, Roy Mulina, and Diana Kila, bring together the team behind the success of the inaugural BNL✨️
Everyone embraced the learnings and challenges experienced to make the next BNL better.
Netball PNG has established the Butterfly Netball League (BNL) as our elite performance tier post-National Championships. BNL creates pathways for athletes to be seen from an elite perspective while testing accredited workforce knowledge.
BNL was praised for bringing out best performance in athletes AND workforce. Expansion to include selected athletes across all affiliates is agenda for 2026 Council AGM, September.
This demonstrates NPNG’s shift from tournaments to pipelines - Leadership Culture with mindset for growth.
We take our hats off to all our sponsors; Gas Resources PNG Limited, WR Carpenters Group of Companies, National Games Control Board, Australian Govt through PacificAus Sports and Trukai PNG Limited.
In Every Wave - and Every Butterfly will Fly because we didn't and won't Quit ❤
