Our PNG Archery National Men's Compound Team was proud to represent Papua New Guinea at the 2026 World Archery Oceania Championships, held from 15–19 April 2026 in Auckland, New Zealand. This event marked an important step in our federation’s continuing journey to rebuild, grow, and compete strongly on the regional stage. We are grateful for the commitment of our athletes, officials, and supporters who made this experience possible. PNG Archery Association supports Port Moresby Archery Club end-of-year shoot 🎯🔥

Today, Saturday 13 December, the Port Moresby Archery Club successfully hosted its final club shoot for 2025, marking the close of the club’s annual calendar with a relaxed and well-deserved Club BBQ.

The PNG Archery Association was pleased to support this club activity and commends POMAC for creating a fun, inclusive end-of-year event that brought members together both on and off the shooting line.

One of the highlights of the day was the introduction of a new fun round – the Passi 30, which added excitement and variety to the shoot and reflected the club’s innovative approach to keeping archery engaging for all levels. Shooting at shorter distances, friendly competition, good food, and great fellowship made it a fitting way to wrap up the 2025 season.

Well done to the POMAC executive, officials, and members for a safe, enjoyable, and successful final shoot. The Federation is happy to share and celebrate this post and looks forward to continued club activities and growth in 2026.
