With the Theme
"Amplifying the leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future" we feature today one of our participants with "motor speech disorder" who started in the program at the beginning of this year.
Mr.Brendan Nassam has grown immensely with confidence since his inclusion in the program. He is strong willed and has proven himself breaking barriers taking up challenges as a volunteer during school visits with the program.
Brendan is an inspiration to many others in his situation and we are more than happy and welcomed to have him and others to come on board and experience what it's like to be included in a safe and conducive space.
To all our friends out there, "Happy International and Day of People living with disability"

Wow!! Unity Exhibition just days before PNGs 49th Independence. What better way to bring a group of kids together to learn and share their experience with each other.
The Hookin4health Unity Exhibition kick started its 1week long programme on Tuesday the 10th of September in Port Moresby at the Sir John Guise Hockey Pavilion.
Guest Speaker, First Secretary of the Australian High commission Ms. Maegan Clarkson welcomed and acknowledged participants from Lae and Port Moresby and spoke about how sports is used to break barriers in promoting inclusion, empowering the younger generation and instilling in them values and life skills.
Four participants shared with everyone their experience since joining the program and talked about the changes they've recognised from taking part and encouraged their fellow Hookin4health friends to take up learning opportunities they may come across while being involved.
The first day was wrapped up with small games and a unity dance creating togetherness and team bonding spirits in preparation for active participation in a safe and conducive space.
