Warimos Aim to Rebound Against Defending Premiers

The opening fixture sees Wapuama Warimos taking on Aioro Waves in what promises to be a high-intensity clash.
The Warimos enter the match determined to recover from their first defeat of the season. After a strong start to the campaign, they will be focused on regaining form and restoring confidence.
However, the defending premiers Aioro Waves remain one of the most disciplined and consistent sides in the competition. They will be looking to inflict a second consecutive defeat on the Warimos and strengthen their position as Round One concludes.

Hurricanes and Snappers Battle for Momentum

In the second fixture, Ubo Hurricanes face Kobosumba Snappers in a match that carries significant importance for both sides.
The Snappers have shown strong improvement in recent rounds and will be eager to continue their winning momentum. Their recent form has lifted confidence within the squad as they look to finish Round One on a high.
The Hurricanes, returning from their bye, will be fresh and determined to spoil Kobosumba’s run. A victory would provide a timely boost heading into Round Two.
Strikers Push for Top Spot as Rocks Seek Revival

The final match of the round features Taitu Strikers against Daromia Rocks in a key encounter at both ends of the ladder.

The Strikers remain firmly in the race for top position and will be aiming to continue their strong form with another crucial win.
Daromia Rocks, meanwhile, are under pressure after back-to-back defeats. They will be desperate to turn their fortunes around and avoid finishing Round One on a disappointing note.

The Tubusereia Cricket Association has extended its gratitude to all clubs, players, officials, and supporters for their continued contribution to the vibrant atmosphere at Ikaiana Oval each weekend.
With Round One concluding, anticipation is high as teams prepare for the next phase of the Late Boi Boto Memorial Shield 2026.

Tubusereia Cricket Association | 16th May 2026

The Tubusereia Cricket Association Late Boi Boto Memorial Shield 2026 competition continues to heat up after Round 6, with the points ladder showing a clear split between title contenders and teams fighting to climb out of the lower half.

Despite suffering their first defeat of the season, Wapuama Warimos remain at the top of the table, maintaining their lead as the benchmark side of the competition. However, pressure is mounting from below as Taitu Strikers continue their strong campaign, closing in on second place and positioning themselves as serious challengers for the top spot.

Holding steady in third are Aioro Waves, who have maintained consistent form throughout the tournament. In fourth place, Daromia Rocks remain competitive but will need a stronger finish to break into the top three.

At the bottom of the table, Kobosumba Snappers finally registered a win in Round 6 but remain in seventh position. While the victory provides a morale boost, they will need sustained results to climb out of the lower ranks.

With several rounds still to play, the ladder remains open and competitive, as teams prepare for a crucial phase where every match will have a major impact on finals qualification and overall standings.
