With Shihan Cameron Quinn after winning 3 divisions during the South Pacific Championship many years ago. Young uchi deshi days.

It was brothers fighting each other in the Yokozuna after winning their Weight division.

Post 1999 World Tournament photo with these legends, Shihan Francisco Filho, Shihan Walter Schnaubelt and Paul Pautani in Tokyo, Japan.

Francisco Filho won the World Tournament after the final against Kazumi Hajime of Japan.

Paul fought Kazumi on day 2.
Sadly, Paul Pautani passed away.

This 1999 photo was taken after the World Tournament with one of Japan's great Kyokushin Karate fighters, Shihan Kazumi Hajime. He took out 2nd place after fighting Shihan Francisco Filho of Brazil.

It's important, that the younger generation of Karate-ka know the history of those before them as part of their learning in Kyokushin Karate.
