Zara Wanderers Undefeated Throughout Tournament, Dominate Kempa to Claim Title of the Inaugural Nambawan Medical Centre T10 Preaseason Competition last weekend on the King's Birthday Holiday, 17th June 2024.
In an exhilarating cricket match, the Zara Wanderers and Kempa put on a display of resilience and skill that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. The match saw both teams battling hard, with momentum swinging back and forth before the Zara Wanderers emerged victorious and claimed the tournament title.
To start the match off, Mavara opened the bowling and managed to dismiss Micah Pokana in the first over. Pokana whipped the ball off his pads straight to Sondra Agnes Alex, a 16-year-old, who took a spectacular catch. This catch set the trend for the Wanderers, boosting their confidence and tightening their grip on the match.
Kempa found themselves in deep trouble at the halfway mark of 5 overs with only 10 runs on the board. Their innings seemed doomed until Varigini stepped up and played a crucial knock.
