A special moment for Walter Maso as he prepares to make his Central Dabaris debut today in Wabag, Enga Province.

Hailing from Porgera District, Walter will have the unique privilege of playing his first match for the Dabaris in front of his home crowd, making this debut even more meaningful for the young centre.

In a proud family moment, Walter was presented with his Match Jersey No. 4 by his big brother, surrounded by his brothers and uncles who were present to share in this milestone occasion.

Dabaris Jersey Presentation - Round 8 🦘🔴🔵

The Dabaris squad proudly received their jerseys ahead of today’s match, with Jerseys 1 to 7 presented by OA Naime, PNG Water Board Manager, and Jerseys 8 to 18 presented by Gilbert Kila, Principal of Kopen National School of Excellence.

The team extends its sincere appreciation to Mr. Kila, who generously sponsored dinner and breakfast for the squad at Ribito Hotel. Together with his wife and family, they warmly hosted the boys and made them feel right at home.

Such support and hospitality mean a great deal to the team as they continue their journey. The players and officials are truly grateful for the kindness, encouragement, and care shown to them and look forward to repaying that support with their performance on the field.

The Central Dabaris U19 players were officially presented with their jerseys during the team’s luncheon yesterday ahead of today’s Preliminary Final clash.

Jerseys 1 to 9 were presented by Franchise CEO, Mr. Hubert Warupi, while Jerseys 10 to 18 were presented by Franchise Chairman, Mr. Solo Damena.

With their jerseys proudly in hand, the boys now turn their focus to the task ahead as they take the field today with a place in the Grand Final on the line. 🦘🔴🔵
